Opaga Prime: Climate Zones

  • The flat/hilly zone is mostly coastal area, with a range of dry heat (26°C) to wetter cooler temperatures (18°C). This region is frequented by plentiful rainstorms.

  • The sub-mountainous zone(~800m average elevation) Important region for agricultural reasons. Similar but colder temperatures on average with some frequent frost conditions.

  • The mountainous zone (800m and above) has substantial precipitation and some forests. While this region is quite wet, the temperatures easily reach lows of –25C.
